		<description>From what I&#039;m told by friends ... yes, you can, but be careful not to scratch the surface of the range.  I&#039;m assuming it is a glass top range.  And since cast iron is heavy, take care not to drop it or bang it against the surface because it could crack.  And be sure to use a pot holder or oven mitt cuz as you know, cast iron handles get very hot !!</description>
